Conceived in a bedroom like so many of you out there with less adventurous parents, Automatic Static has been going at it ever since. Now guitarist/vocalist Zac Diebels (formerly of the not so great Simon Says) along with M.J. Franks (bass) and Kevin Prince (drums) dropped a new 6-song EP called “The Murder Of California”.
Self-produced by Diebels and mixed by Shaun Lopez (Far, Deftones), the six songs on this disc rock pretty hard in a Stone Temple Pilots at its loudest meets Buckcherry kinda way. Occasionally Diebels even sounds a little like Scott Weiland which can’t be a bad thing and once the chorus kicks in with crashing guitars, you know this stuff has modern rock radio written all over it!
