Wow, major eighties flashback! The guitar sounds and vocals on Confuse The Cat’s seem to be lifted straight from old The Cure and U2 albums. Except for the instrumental “Jackal At 10 ‘O Clock” which has more of a Police vibe. Yet somehow they forgot to include those bands’ level of quality, making “Kericky” kind of an obsolete album. Check out the originals or The Editors instead. That way you won’t have to listen to the incredibly annoying spoken word part on “Paul’s Eyes” either. It’s a win-win situation really!
