Lightning Daze is an Italian band that takes more than just a couple of cues from acts like early Get Up Kids. Problem is that the production sounds a little too frumpy for my taste and it’s all just a little bit too formulaic and simple without any memorable hooks. Songs gently trickle along without me really taking notice even though I’m trying to.
