After 8 years One Day As A Lion’s debut EP, marks the return of Zach de la Rocha behind the mic. He still sounds as pissed off as ever, raging against religion, repression and the war. He does this over rhythms laid down by former Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodore while de la Rocha throws in some heavily distorted keyboard sounds. All five songs sound mean, bare and you should hear them because they’ll make your stereo rattle, especially during the opening track “Wild International” and “If You Fear Dying”.
