Chip Hanna and the Berlin Three – The Old South Jamboree

Hey, lookie here… Chippy and his Berlin Three are back already after their self-titled debut. This time around they’re heading for “The Old South Jamboree” and while their mixture of rockabilly, country and a whole lot of Southern twang is fun to listen to, none of it actually sticks. Except for the occasional song (“The Chosen One”), there seems to be a lack of memorable hooks and riffs which is a shame because I feel Chip Hanna can do a lot better than this.
