Police & Thieves sees former members of Worn Thin and Balboa unite in one band firing off thirteen hardcore rounds. This album isn’t a new one but rather a compilation of the band’s demo, self-titled 7” and the “Amor Y Guerra” 7” with all the tracks being completely remastered.
They’ve got a melodic hardcore vibe going on that Dag Nasty helped perfect in the past with a raspy voice and I have to say that they are pretty good at it. You can tell they’ve progressed throughout their three releases so none of that ‘I think they peaked on their demo’ shit is in order here.
This album is a mighty fine way to get to know a promising band that doesn’t do anything you haven’t heard before but it’s obvious that they mean business. Feel free to check it out for yourself!
