From the north of France come The Dadds who listened especially well to bands from across the Channel like the Kinks. François T’s voice is as shrill as the Farfisa organ that these guys use in pretty much every single song and the rest of the band does a great job of playing some cool beat music.
All of the songs are decent, most of the songs are sung in French and a couple of ‘em are in Franglais. Which I still think is a funny language. They probably didn’t mean it to be funny but still… Oh well, listen to “Les Filles, Le Jerk & Les Motos” and “Ibère Hiatus” and find out why this band is worthy of your time.
