Noyalty – The Seas Have No Roads

Wow, that album title is like sooo deep. The first time around I spent so long thinking about that title that I missed the entire album. Which is a shame because after having pressed play for the second time I quickly found out that these Dutchies know how to write some very solid hardcore punk anthems.

Right from the get go Noyalty kicks things off furiously with the short yet powerful “Monologue”. This one leads straight into the title track on which Geert Van Der Velde (formerly of Shai Hulud) helps out with guest vocals. Not that these guys need the help because vocalist Daniël Calder sure knows his way around a mic. The name A Wilhelm Scream popped into my head more than once even though Noyalty is a little more straightforward in my opinion. Nice breakdowns and cool singalong only help add to the overall excitement. And the sample of Entourage’s Ari Gold in “Regret And Anger Consume Us All” solidifies the deal as far as I’m concerned… check these guys out!
