Danava – Unonou

With plenty of Blue Cheer riffage and Black Sabbath doom and gloom, Danava goes on a psychedelic rock trip of proportions on their sophomoric full-length. Throw in some spacy stoner sounds and you’ll know what’s about to hit you.

There are some very cool freakouts to be found throughout “Unonou” but overall I’d say they still fall a little short of staying interesting for the album’s entire duration. It’s a definite improvement over their last album though so who knows what they’ll cook up next time!
