With the last Meteors' album not all that far behind him, frontman P. Paul Fenech already unleashes his next solo album upon his not so innocent fans. Does it sound any different from The Meteors? Not, really... maybe a little more surf but other than that this is straight-up psychobilly. With one of the big masters himself doing the writing, that has to be good, right? Well, kinda. I doubt Fenech will ever release a bad album (quite the contrary with his lyrics which are about all kinds of bad) but I do kinda get the vibe that Fenech was simply going through the motions with this one. It all sounds okay but it never gets truly exciting. Better luck next time!
