I don’t know about you, but I fucking loved Break The Silence! So when members of that band start a new project, I want to hear it! And guess what, “Heroes & Ghosts” doesn’t disappoint in the least.
These gentlemen hail from Chicago and have no problem at all living up to that city’s reputation of putting out great punkrock acts. They blend right in with their sound that brought back memories of No Use For A Name, Inspection 12 and Rise Against. Whether it’s the phenomenal opening track or the trumpet-laden”And Everybody’s Right (Asshole)”, these guys know how to write catchy hooks and big choruses and are equally able to tie them together nicely in lightning-fast songs. Basically, if you were into any of the 90s Epitaph/Fat Wreck bands, you’re gonna love this!
