On album number three, these kind and caring Christian dudes start things off with the kind of intro that would’ve made POD proud when they still mattered. Some guy mutters a bunch of stuff with some softly strummed chords backing him up. Not a real song and actually quite boring. And they don’t do this once… no no, they repeat the same trick four times in total!
Other than that For Today is still their own self with plenty of chugga chugga riffage, single note breakdowns, tons of bass drops and an over the top vocalist. By the time the gospel choir came in singing ‘He is Here, He was There, He Is King, He is Faithful’, I was hoping judgement day would come around preferably sooner than later.
